Thought I should share some of my most used apps on my iPhone and iPad.

Path - I’ve been a user of Path for about 2 years now but haven’t really utilized its full potential until about 3 months ago, after much convincing from some other friends of mine. I like Path because of it’s simple interface, it does what you need it to do as a social medium tool without the fuss. I also like that it seamlessly links my Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and Foursquare check ins at the touch of the screen underneath each individual post. Of course, you don’t have to link it, you can just have the post remain on your Path, or even just to yourself. I also like Path because of its exclusivity. You can only have a maximum of 150 people follow you, so I only have a very limited amount of people able to see mine. Handy when you want to post photos or thoughts and not want the whole world to see it.

GoodPlayer - This app I have only very recently discovered. After the loss of VLC player on my iPad and iPhone I have been looking for a decent replacement. I was getting sick of converting all my movie and TV series files so I could put them into my iTunes and sync them across. For just $2.99 GoodPlayer plays all common and not so common video files and syncs seamlessly through your app tab on your iTunes to my iPad. One of my favorite features is the audio delay. You know how sometimes we download video files that have the audio just out of sync, well GoodPlayer has a feature that enables you to slow or speed up the audio to align it with what your watching on the screen. Proves very handy! Make sure you check it out in the app store.

Games? Yes.

Draw Something, Sims Free Play, Where’s My Water?, Plants V’s Zombies and iAssociate are among my favorite games to play, and th occasional Words With Friends.

Cover Maker Pro - I love this app. For anyone who is using FB (who isn’t these days?) and has the very controversial Timeline, which I love, Cover Maker Pro lets you make awesome cover photos montages from photos on your iPhone. You can choose cool multi-shot layouts and design your own. Check it out.

Jittergram - Cool little app which let’s you make funky .gif images and animation frames. Hours of endless fun there.

Film Director - This one enables you to make old style movies complete with film warping and old style saloon music. Check out these apps and more. There are so many out there, I love spending my time browsing the app store.

Enough said.

This is one of my favorite funny cat videos. My sister and I used to spend hours on YouTube looking up funny animal videos and montages… Used to? Ha. Who am I kidding? Still do!

So I attended Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Ball concert last night, at the Singapore indoor stadium and was intrigued by some of the things I witnessed. Which was awesome! Although, uncomfortably loud.. Anyway. Still amazing. We got into the stadium and claimed our spots, creating a sort of personal zone that we managed to maintain throughout the entire 4 hours we were inside…

1. About an hour and a 1/2 since we claimed our spots I got a tap on the shoulder from a rather small, young Asian girl. I think she had arrived with the teen wannabe’s that had plonked beside us about 45mins earlier (And continued to scream at the top of the lungs the entire concert. Including the overtly gay indian teenager who happened to know everything about everyone and everything about everything.. You can imagine I was ready to drop kick him by the end of the night) Now I’m a tall guy - about 6 foot 1ish which in a concert in Singapore is very handy because I can see over most of the population without any trouble. Anyway, this young girl proceeded to tap me on the shoulder and said could I move, because she couldn’t see. I gave her the look over, up and down and promptly told her “No (bitch.. (on the inside)). If she couldn’t see then she should move to another spot - not me move for her. So what? She could just keep tapping the people in front of her till eventually she was at the front? Little girl, if you wanted to be at the front, or at least have no one tall standing in front of you, you should have joined the queues at 4pm like the rest of us.

2. It AMAZED me how far people will go to attempt to sneakily move in front of me in any way possible during the concert. At one point I had this lady step over my left foot so her foot was in-between my legs and shift her body weight in front of me. So.. I sandwiched her foot between my left and right foot and continued to enjoyed the concert as planned. After a mild struggle she managed to get her foot, which I had firmly wedged between min free and she gave me a disgruntled look and calmed. For now…

Another 15 mins past and she attempted again. This time she planted her hand on her waist, making sure her elbow extended as FAR as possible and started to shimmy her way between myself and my partner Frank, who was standing in front of me. “Oh this one is too easy” I thought to myself and swiftly grabbed Frank around the waist and gave him a big hug - with her elbow between us. The look of disgust could - and I quote - “I thought the flesh was gonna melt off her face”.  Not sure it was the fact that she got sandwiched between two Mo’s or that she lost in the struggle to concert shift (as it should now be named) that made her angry? Ah well.

Enough said.
